Tammie's Closet

Offered on the 2nd and last Monday of the Month from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Tammie's Closet is a free clothes closet that is made possible by the greater Lubbock community who generously donate gently used clothing.

Families in need may visit the clothes closet on the second and last Monday of each Month from 9 am – 12 pm.  No appointments are necessary.

We also accept referrals from school districts and other non-profit organizations.  These cases are handled on an appointment basis. 

Donations are accepted Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Tammie Stilwell has been volunteering at The Bridge of Lubbock since 2009. She learned about The Bridge from her husband who attended a presentation about our outreach. Tammie's first volunteer experience was with Feed the Mind and then one day she was introduced to the Clothing Closet. She was convinced that God wanted her in there. Ever since, she can be counted on to come in regularly to ensure that all of the clothes are sorted and that every person has a wonderful experience as they shop for their needs. In 2010, she co-led our first Project: Prom. Tammie is a true blessing and we are lucky to have her!
