Seeds of Hope, 2012

Picture
The 3rd Annual Seeds of Hope Dinner was held on April 19th, from 6 - 9 p.m. at The Legacy Event Center, a YWCA of Lubbock Facility.  Seeds of Hope is our Spring fundraiser for B2S Summer Camp.  B2S Summer Camp is partially funded by a grant from the Helen Jones Foundation.  It costs approximately $600 for one camper to experience God's love over the month of July. Our plan is to touch the lives of 60 campers.

This year the dinner featured keynote speaker,
Dr. David Fraze, musical guest, Dr. Alan Shinn's jazz ensemble and a silent auction.

Dinner was expertly prepared by The Bridge's own
Seasoned With Love catering service led by Executive Chef Robert Ramirez.

Seeds of Hope, 2011

The Texas Tech Club provided the backdrop for a wonderful dinner and fellowship among people who wanted to celebrate the outreach provided by The Bridge of Lubbock or simply learn more about what we do.

Larissa Adkins further inspired the crowd with her joyful voice and her mission for
Pocket of Soul.

After the last silent auction item was claimed and the last bit of cheesecake devoured, almost $10,000 was raised for B2S Summer Camp.

Seeds of Hope, 2010

An intimitate benefit dinner designed to acquaint the community with the outreach provided by The Bridge of Lubbock.  We raised almost $4,000 while our guests mingled with some of our B2S students and the sounds of jazz played in the background.  The evening was capped off by an inspiring cuisine that was very prepared by our very own Seasoned with Love Catering by The Bridge of Lubbock.

We are especially grateful for the RHIM students from Texas Tech University who volunteered their time to help serve dinner and clean up after the event.
