1/26/2010 - REALITY CHECK: Life is not a Game. Higher Education is attainable!
Our Bridge 2 Success students got to experience Reality Check. Reality Check is something like the Game of Life where the students are given a career, a budget, and a family. Each student is given the opportunity to buy child care, food, clothes, transportation, etc, on a budget depending on their chosen occupation. The idea is that this will help bring to reality that LIFE is not a GAME, and show that higher education is necessary.

Carino's Italian and Courtyard Marriott joined us as we celebrated National Mentoring Month by providing a wonderful meal and a place to honor the heart and soul of our B2S program.
